Cheesy Mielie Bread
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder.
Add the eggs and milk and mix to combine to form a dough. Fold in the mielies and grated cheese.
Spoon the dough into a well-greased loaf tin. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- 4 cups fresh mielies, cut off the cob and lightly crushed
- 3 Eggs whisked
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 cups Flour
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- 100g Cheese, grated
