Lady D’s Durban Mutton curry and rice with sambals and butter naan
Heat oil in a heavy saucepan. Peel and chop onions. Fry until soft. Add garlic, ginger, chilli. Add curry powder, and fry for 2 minutes. Add meat and stir to combine. Add grated tomatoes, cinnamon, star anise, and stir in. Add 3 cups water. Turn down the heat , cover and simmer for 2 ½-3 hours,or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add the Royco Durban Curry Cook-In Sauce. Finally add chopped coriander to serve.
Serve with basmati rice.
Chop an onion and a tomato into small pieces. Mix the two, and serve with the Curry.
Finely chop a little fresh coriander, mint leaves, and a little minced green chilli, and stir it into a cup of full cream yoghurt.
Spread a little butter on the naan breads and put them in a hot griddle pan to heat up. Serve with the curry.

• ¾ cup oil
