Ria’s Filled Gem Squash and Minute Steaks
Boil the whole gem squash in a large pot until tender. Whilst the gem squash is boiling, brown the onions, garlic, mushrooms and diced pepper in a little oil in a pan. Add the already steamed broccoli, and cauliflower.
Hot Tip: If you need to add a little more flavour to the Stir Fry, put 1-2 tsp Royco Beef Stroganoff powder in a cup of water, stir and add to the stir fry .
In a separate bowl, mix 3 tbsp. of oil, the Royco® Meat Marinade and 1 tbsp. crushed garlic. Add the minute steaks to the marinade and let them rest for a few minutes. Place minute steaks on a hot griddle or frying pan and cook till tender.
Cut gem squash in half and discard the seeds. Fill generously with the cauliflower rice filling.
Place minute steaks and gem squash onto plates and serve.
- 3 large Gem squash
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp. crushed garlic
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups steamed cauliflower rice (or grated cauliflower)
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- 12 minute steaks
- ½ cup of oil
- 3 tbsp. Royco® Dry Meat Marinade
- 1 tbsp. Royco® Beef Stroganoff powder
