Bacon Carbonara Pasta Base

Preparation Time: 35 min
Serves: 6


Simply add:

250 g Spaghetti
2 Tablespoons oil
1 onion, finely chopped
250 g mushrooms, sliced
250 g bacon, sliced
250 ml fresh cream
½ cup frozen peas (optional)

Cooking instructions:

  • Cook pasta as per pack instructions.
  • In a pan, lightly brown the chopped onion, mushrooms and bacon in oil.
  • Add the contents of the pouch, cream and peas.
  • Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste and stir into pasta/

Tasty tip!
Garnish with 50 g of Parmesan cheese
